For you, web surfer of this web site
With this website I would like to tell the story of my life through my texts, radio plays, reports and films, and invite you on a series of adventurous journeys.
Each of these works is a crystallisation point in the flow of my life:
I travel with the Shipiba shaman Elisa through mystical worlds, I follow the pirate women of the Caribbean on a traditional granvelero. "Death is dancing," says the midwife in Hungary, pointing to the dancing man she is about to poison.
In Mexico, we experience reality through the changing rhythm of the dancers' hearts and come to know Madrina Muerte as a loving accomplice of the poor and marginalised: "Oh Santita Muerte, Santísima Muerte". In Peru, Ecuador, Panama and Mexico, I follow in the footsteps of indigenous men and women who are stepping out of the role of victim and showing that they have the power to make the world a more just place: "Times are changing". And we, the Screaming Mamas, are raising our voices, shattering the lie of war and inviting an adventurous peace.
Each of my pieces has been created in collaboration with musicians, actors and dancers, sound and lighting technicians and cameras. And it is exciting to give a public voice to courageous people whose life stories exemplify dignity, courage and personal integrity: "About the Crocodile in Modern Times. For me, it is a pleasure to create and experience as a team: we are all creative beings. And I am grateful to destiny for allowing me to work with all these wonderful people who populate the stories.
My life is a dance, mystery, love and freedom are a key theme. I am tantric, mother, lover, I live "Shakti's dream" and I am "following the stars" with the Guna Indians.
Todas estas experiencias desembocan en "Durga's Tiger School for Tantra Yoga Art and Shamanism": Aprendemos a cabalgar el tigre, a inspirarnos y a responsabilizarnos de nuestras vidas: bailando, llorando, riendo, cantando, nos convertimos en artistas, creadores de nuestra propia realidad.
